I grew up in East Texas, but at this point I have lived in the Dallas area (currently Richardson) for longer than I have lived anywhere else. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University with a major in Speech Communication (public speaking). I have been practicing yoga since 2003, but only began teaching fitness in 2012 when I was initially certified to teach the Lagree Method. I completed my 200 Hour yoga teacher training in 2015 and taught yoga concurrently with Lagree for 7 years. I became an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor in 2018. Through AFAA I have Mat Pilates and midlife fitness training, as well as ongoing Continuing Education. I am currently a Lagree Level 2 Instructor, and am not currently teaching yoga or other modalities. I also work part time as an assistant preschool teacher.
