Most likely you're somewhere in between. No matter where you have been or where you are now, I want to walk alongside you.

I have been practicing yoga since 2003, but did not begin to dabble in teaching fitness until 2012 when I was trained in the Lagree Fitness Method, through Ultimate Pilates in Plano. In 2015, I trained for 200 hours to become a yoga instructor and in 2018 I completed my AAFA Certified Group Fitness Instructor certification. My CEU's through AFAA also include basic mat Pilates instruction.
Yoga is the unity of breath and movement. The connection of mind and body movements lend very specific benefits over years of practice. Yoga is for every body. Yoga is NOT about being bendy or flexible. I teach a Hatha-based approach where the speed and advancement is based on the participant's needs in the moment.
The patented Lagree Fitness Method is a workout taught on steel machines designed by Sebastien Lagree specifically for slow and controlled movements yielding maximum impact in minimal time in a joint-neutral alignment that is particularly suited to prevent injury and aid recovery. We use a Megaformer in a studio (like Ultimate Pilates Plano, where I teach), and the Microformer at home.
